The hacking mini-game in Mankind Divided isn’t the most thrilling thing you’ll play this year, but doing it will open up a multitude of opportunities.īy investing in the upgrades for hacking augmentations, you’ll not only be able to unlock doors and containers that may hold valuable goods, but you’ll be able to control cameras and manipulate robots and drones, which will give you the upper hand in battle. The best way to find all this is to invest in the smart vision augment, which will not only allow you to see enemies through walls, giving you a heads up if you’re about to get caught, but also alerts you to all the opportunities at your disposal at any given time. You can hack terminals, climb into vents, bypass certain checkpoints, and discover secret passageways through different rooms. Mankind Divided is absolutely teeming with multiple routes through missions. It’s the best way to keep stocked, otherwise you might find yourself struggling. There can be weapons or weapon accessories like silencers, Praxis kits to give you bonus upgrade points, credits for buying new gear, or precious consumables like Biocells and Hypoderms to keep you alive and kicking. It can take a while to realise quite how much stuff there is in Mankind Divided, and almost all the best rewards are found by looting drawers, safes and locked compartments. There’s loads to find, learn and manipulate in Adam Jensen’s cyberpunk world, so here’s some tips to make your adventure a bit more rewarding. It’s a surprisingly deep experience – one with myriad options available, from how to play the game, to the individual choices you make along the way. Instead, it’s a role-playing game where you can shoot things. You'll still complete the mission still even if Singh dies and the chopper gets away, so no pressure.Deus Ex: Mankind Divided isn’t a shooter. Then rush to the chopper and remove the battery. If you take them out in time, you can stop them from killing him. Take the enemies out at the bottom level first. Taking them out with hand-to-hand combat will drain your energy, which you need for your vision aug. It will automatically highlight any enemies in red. You'll need to use Jensen's vision aug to see through it. The sandstorm everyone has been talking about finally hits at a bad time. The final part of the mission requires some speed and a lot of saved aug energy. Hack the door by the waypoint to trigger the next cutscene. Deactivate the booster and crouch to the waypoint taking another guard out by the door. Make sure they're out of sight from one another and take them out quietly. The com booster is in the next door on the right. Just make sure you take the guard out quickly as he may hear you land. You can jump the gap and quietly take down the guard waiting over there, or jump down, cloak and climb a ladder. There's a gap between you and a walkway at the same level. The communications booster (secondary mission) isn't in there. Don't bother checking out the first room to the right. Keep walking straight toward the waypoint. There are two guards walking around up there. Stay on the path you come to right out of the vent. You don't even have to worry about hiding their bodies. The next room has another pair of guards who both have their backs to you. Hack into it and grab the ammo and consumables in the lockers and then head to the elevator. There's a hackable gate next to the waypoint in the elevator. In this trippy dream world, you'll have to find and download five data towers. Jensen gets to sit in the NSN Device, which is that fancy chair that Miller was sitting in when you met with him a few missions ago. Reaching the waypoint on the second floor will trigger another cutscene. After your conversation with Vega, head to the next waypoint to use the NSN Device. Heading to a waypoint triggers a cutscene. Leave the apartment building and head to the next waypoint to meet Vega near TF29. A pocket secretary inside the safe says the code is 1363. The room has another laptop that you can easily hack and a safe with a level 5 security system. Miller has a punching bag in his bedroom. Hacking his computer will give you some insight on Miller's personal life, but it won't reveal anything about the investigation. Upgrade your hacking augs in order to access rooms that will make Jensen's journey easier. Be sure to set aside some some Praxis points for this reason alone. Increasing hacking skills is as simple as upgrading your augs.
